Created by Jason deCaires Taylor, this new center of Art, Culture and Tourism is the first submarine museum in Europe and it aims to create an extensive coral reef formed by 300 sculptures made of cement with neutral pH that, with the passage of time, will help to increase marine biomass.

Museo Aeronáutico del Aeropuerto de Lanzarote

The Aeronautical Museum is in the interest of citizens to learn about the aeronautical history of Lanzarote and makes it possible to preserve a building. The beginning of air transport at the end of the 20th century has radically transformed the economic and social reality of the island. The museum is located in the first passenger building built at Lanzarote airport in the 1940s. The contents are illustrated with a wide selection of photographs and exhibitions in panels and shop windows, as well as aircraft models from different eras.

Tanit Ethnographic Museum

The Tanit Ethnographic Museum is located in the heart of the island, precisely in the municipality of San Bartolomé, in one of the oldest cellars, belonging to a manor of the XVIII century. The museum offers a complete exposition of the ethnographic heritage of Lanzarote and when you visit its halls, you will be able to know the history of the island inhabitants, their folklore and their traditions.

A Casa Jose Saramago

A Casa, it’s “a house made of books”. It was thus defined by the Nobel Prize of Literature José Saramago. Casa – Museum of César Manrique is located in the north of the island, nestled in the picturesque palm grove of Haría. In 1986, the artist began the restoration work of this ancient farmhouse, which became his main residence until 1992, the year of his death. El Patio Agricultural Museum

El Patio Agricultural Museum is located in the small and cozy village of Tiagua (Teguise). This is one of the oldest and farms (1845).

This precious legacy will make you travel through the agricultural and architectural traditions of the island. Moreover, in his small cellar you can taste and buy the goat’s wines and cheeses prepared at the property.
